Tools to Share Christianity with Your Friends

I often get questions from Christians asking for tools they can use to easily explain arguments for Christianity—tools to help them start conversations with their friends and family. Below is a collection of short, engaging videos (and one booklet) you can use for that purpose.

  • The Story of Reality – This first video is from Stand to Reason and gives an overview of the Christian story. For many people, Christianity just doesn’t make sense. They’ve picked up bits of theology here and there, but they have no idea how it all fits together. This video summarizes Christian theology and makes it clear that we’re not just saying it’s “true for us”; we’re saying it’s the truth about reality.
  • The Kalam Cosmological Argument – The rest of the videos below were created by Reasonable Faith (William Lane Craig’s organization). The cosmological argument goes like this: “Whatever begins to exist has a cause. The universe began to exist. Therefore, the universe has a cause.”
  • The Moral Argument – If God does not exist, then objective moral values do not exist. But objective moral values do exist. Therefore, God exists.
  • The Fine-Tuning of the Universe – There are three possible explanations for the extraordinary fine-tuning of our universe: physical necessity, chance, or design. This video explains why design is the best explanation for what we observe.
  • And finally, if you have friends who would be open to going through a readable, 64-page booklet with you that summarizes arguments for God’s existence, try William Lane Craig’s God, Are You There?
