Is Jesus Just a Crutch

Greg responds to the objection often raised against Christianity, that Jesus is just a crutch. Back in the Jesus Movement, people used to dismiss Christianity and Christians because Jesus was “just a crutch.” I thought that people were raising the wrong issue. Is Jesus a crutch? Is he someone I lean on? Sure. The question is not whether I lean on Jesus, but weather or not everybody needs a crutch and whether or not your crutch can hold you.
