Still Following Jesus

John begins his Gospel with the miraculous event that justifies our Christmas celebration: “In the beginning was the Word…. The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:1,14). That is worth celebrating.

Before returning to the Father, Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey His commands (Matt. 28:19-20). Although I live 2,000 years later and 7,500 miles away, that Great Commission still animates my life today.

This year I had the privilege of serving our King by continuing to train believers for the defense of the Gospel. I gave 166 presentations to over 10,000 people in 3 countries (United States, Canada, and Lebanon). That’s not including the thousands I reached through radio, social media, the web, and television. In fact, I was interviewed on national Canadian television on Islam and homosexuality.

All this impact wouldn’t have been possible without you. Your partnership has enabled me to equip believers to proclaim and defend the Gospel in a clear and compelling manner. You have been a valuable gift to me and to the thousands impacted by your generosity.

As this year draws to a close, would you consider making a generous gift towards my work? This will allow me to end the year strong and be ready for the year ahead.

I look forward to 2016, when I will continue to follow Jesus by training believers to boldly proclaim the Gospel. I’m thankful you’ll be there beside me. Together we will continue to fulfill the Great Commission.
