Dear Friend,

How many students do you know, that were regularly involved in their church or youth group, who have walked away from their faith once they moved on to college or the workplace?

According to the latest research from the National Study of Youth and Religion, the number one reason why students leave behind their faith is intellectual skepticism.  In other words, they have questions and doubts that go unanswered.  The results of a survey done by Josh McDowell point to the cause:  84% of Christian college freshmen were unable to explain what they believe or why they believe it.

The problem is clear.  Christian students don’t know what they believe or how to defend their beliefs against the sophisticated objections to Christianity in today’s culture

It’s time to give our young people a dose of confidence.  My role at Stand to Reason is to do just that.  The vision of Stand to Reason is clear:  “to provide the training to build a new generation of confident, courageous, yet winsome and attractive ambassadors for Christ capable of restoring credibility to the Christian world view.”

Imagine a new generation of students who are confident about their Christian beliefs and are courageous about taking a stand for Christ publicly.  Picture one of the many young people you know excited and passionate about their faith in Christ because they have an anchor of knowledge deep in their soul.  You can be a part of this exciting vision.

As an employee of Stand to Reason, I am responsible for raising my own salary just as missionaries do (only in my case, my “mission field” is our secular culture right here in America).  Thus, I am able to work full- time training and equipping students only because a special group of people financially supports my work.

Would you prayerfully consider joining my support team?

Your monthly, tax-deductible gift of $100, $50, or even $35 will directly impact the lives of countless
students who will be equipped to impact this culture for the cause of Christ.

In return for your generosity we’ll train you, too.  We will be sending out a monthly report on a timely issue to help equip you.  And I’ll personally update you on your investment in the lives of young people.

Thank you for considering this partnership.  Together as a team, with God’s help, we can build a new generation of confident and courageous ambassadors for Christ.  We desperately need them.
